SMOKY MOUNTAIN ORCHID SOCIETY

The Smoky Mountain Orchid Society was formed in 1963 after Jack Barron, James Sterling, Mrs. H.B. Fogle and Neal Freund formed a committee to investigate the interest in forming an organization committed to the mutual enjoyment of growing orchids.

The Society continues in this endeavor through the participation of its members who gather monthly to share the love, knowledge and experiences of orchid growing.
